California was nothing short of amazing and I'm living the days over and over again. Ive never been to a national park before (besides the small one here in Ohio), so these parks were STUNNING. No words can explain the vast trees and mountains me and Danny experienced. If you ever get the chance to go to Sequoia National Park and Yosemite, GO! Be prepared to drink lots of water, hike, and have you ears pop 100000 times.
Taking photos at these places was lots of fun because we didn't know what to expect so we just hopped out of the car every time we saw. cool spot! Very spontaneous and fun!

This post is written in partnership with Olay, but all opinions are my own.
Winter is amongst us right now in Ohio and it is just above 0 degrees! Keeping your skin moisturized during the dry season is crucial because it can make your skin crack and flakey and no one likes to have dry and dull skin. With colds and sickness constantly going around, it’s important to take care of your body and your skin! I’ve learned from my mom and my best friend Jaelyn, that taking care of your skin is very important because you grow old with it. How you take care of it now will affect how it looks in years to come. Treat your skin with love and kindness and it will come to bring you great joy in your old ages.
This season I have personally dealt with extremely dry skin due to a constant cold and the dry air. Within the last two weeks of using Olay’s new moisturizing Whip, my skin has transformed into being super moisturized and continually giving me the fresh glow that my skin needs. Not to mention, it’s literally a 15 second process of rubbing the product onto your skin! Super easy step, for a long term effect? DEFINITELY WORTH IT. I no longer have to worry about putting foundation on and fearing throughout the day what my face looks like due to it being dry and flakey. I would also like to mention, the consistency of this product is amazing! It is non greasy, super lightweight and completely absorbs into your skin! My skin can breath through this product, unlike others I have tried that feel very heavy and caked into my face.
I'm Bringing that summer moisturizing glow into the Winter with this Whip! It been a skin saver!
Stay Moisturized and Glowing,
Blowfish Malibu challenged me and my gal pal Lisa to create a New Years resolution together!
Lisa and I decided that our resolution was going to be to put an emphasis on community not competition! In the Instagram world we are going to focus on being supporters to those creatives around us and be an uplifting light! I am all about meeting fellow creatives, creating content, socializing and sipping on some good coffee together! So if you're reading this and wanna grab coffee and shoot photos LMK!
I followed Lisa (@lisamarieprang) awhile agoon Instagram and I knew we lived kind close but didn't know how close! So recently we decided to meet halfway and I am so happy that we did! We are now Instagram besties and Im so thankful for her uplifting personality and kind soul!
Im also so thankful for my little community here on my website and my Instagram! I have such an uplifting group of amazing people who inspire to do what I love!
THANKS BLOWFISH MALIBU!
I'm so excited to share this blogpost! These are all things I wish I knew about when I began my journey! I'm more than willing to share what I've learned thus far about being a self sustaining blogger/creative/influencer. So sit tight, there is quite a bit of information below!
Content comes from what you envision it to be. Some people are gifted with being able to think deep and envision something in their brain before its acted out in real life. Although the things below will greatly help you, it is what you already have thats most important, your brain and the ability to be creative.
So before we get into these essentials, Theres some things you need to figure out:
1. YOUR NICHE
Basically what brings you the most joy and what you are passionate about. This is SUPER important because people love authentic content. You need to be true to yourself and use that to push out content that you genuinely love and enjoy. For some people it may be beauty, for others travel. Personally I reside under the lifestyle niche because I simply love everything.
Its important to have a certain style or edit of photos. This may not be important for everyone, but for me, it has tremendously help me grow. My feed looks nice and cohesive using the same edits and all the photos have a similar style. Also, once you have a certain style of photos, people will start to recognize you for that.
What I have witnessed so far is quality content is key. Many companies ask for high resolution images and sometimes I feel like its hard to take iPhone photos seriously. These companies are paying you for your images and when zoomed in, iPhone photos can be blurry. Also, you want to leave a good impression because they will most likely reach back out in the future if they see the amazing content you can create. Investing in a good camera and lens has been one of the best investments I have made. People can definitely tell quality off your photos.
So the first investment I would make is a DSLR Camera but if you can't afford one, your iPhone will do for now!
Cameras I recommend:
Sony Alpha a600 - Test the limits of your creativity with the premium mirrorless DSLR that’s focused on speed. Every artistic shot you take—from fast-action to candid—benefits from 24.3MP detail and the world’s fastest auto focus6. For capturing crucial moments that go by in a blink, the a6000 can shoot 11 photos in one second. It’s compact and easy to use, too. Two quick-access dials let you change settings on the fly. Very intuitive.
Canon 5D Mark iii (MY BABY)- The Canon 5D Mark III is a true "superstar" camera, with impressive capabilities for both still and video shooting. It suits the needs of well-heeled amateurs and working pros equally well, and while its resolution is only very slightly higher than that of the 5D Mark II. Superb still and video image quality; Powerful, fast, and accurate AF system with loads of cross-type points, loads of configurability and great frame coverage; Rugged, weather-sealed body with great control layout and user-interface configurability.
35mm 1.4 (MY OTHER BABY): This is the lens I use for almost everything! Danny insisted buying this and it has definitely made a difference and it totally worth the splurge! The images that this produces is fantastic!
These essentials are super helpful when creating content. I have collected them over the years and wish I would have known to buy them when I first started out!
1. IPHONE TRIPOD
If you don't have a dslr, or saving up to buy one, this is your best friend in the time being. I bought one of these in college and would go out to empty lots and set up my phone and take photos of my outfits. However, this tripod is very light, so be careful because it will blow over in the wind, I learned the hard way! This set also comes with a wireless remote, which is super essential because you don't have to keep running back and forth to your phone. Quick and efficient!
2. STURDY CAMERA TRIPOD
Ive dealt with my fair share of tripods trying to go the cheap route and they always break. Invest in a good heavy duty tripod that won't blow over in the wind! Also, get one that will be tall enough for you to use for good full body outfits!
3. SELF TIMER WIRELESS REMOTE
GUYS, without this your life will be 10x harder trying to get the perfect shots. You can buy one of these for your phone (click here) or one for your camera (click here). Just make sure that the description says that it will pair with your camera! This has been a huge life saver because you don't have to keep going back to the camera to press the button, and also it will make sure that the camera is focused on you!
This is an amazing free app that lets you look at your feed and lets you upload photos to see what your feed would look like with certain photos. To sum it up, basically it helps you keep your feed flowing from one photo to another! I literally just started using it this month and it has been a lifesaver!
I am not an organized person and I will openly admit that! However, having a calendar is key when you get into the busy life of collaborating with brands! You can keep track of when things are due to post and you can also just jot down any upcoming ideas you may have! I personally like to have a calendar that I can write in! Otherwise you can just use you phone calendar.
I have personally used all of the things I have listed above and will continue using them until the end! They have helped me tremendously especially when I haven't had a photographer around to take my photos!
I hope you liked this blogpost and it will help you in someway! :)
Comment any other questions you may have below!
Whats Fall without a good pair of boots to pair along with your outfits?
Booties are an essential when it comes to Fall because my feet get super cold especially my toes! And when it snows in Ohio, its even worse! Blowfish Shoes sent me the cutest pair of booties that match literally EVERYTHING! Black booties are a must have in anyones closet because they literally can be thrown on with any outfit and the automatically look good!
So, I would definitely say, if you don't own a pair of black booties, you need to invest in a comfortable pair!

Im currently sitting in California taking in the 104 degree heat while back home it is 40! Can I just move here already?
This Fall is all about being comfy cozy while enjoying the dropping temperatures. Theres just something about being outside in the fall thats really indescribable. It just puts you in one of those moods where you just want to wear layers on layers and drink hot apple cider.
This outfit was styled by it being one of those days where its hot in the morning but cools down in the evening. Which happens a lot here! You gotta be prepared for all different types of temperatures when its fall because it could frost one day and overheat the next.

Autumn is here,
Im excited to let you guys know that you will be seeing a lot more content coming from me! I got some fun things up my sleeve so stay tuned!
Driving down an old country road, my mom and I were gazing through the window as we noticed an adorable side market off the side of the road. We both looked at each other for we both had the same thought, "This place would be an awesome location to take photos!"
Directly behind this market, overgrown with trees, resides a house. A house that looked completely haunted, like something you would see in a horror movie. We tried to be as quiet as we could, so that no one would come out and yell at us for taking photos! Who knew this person would be selling an item called a peanut pumpkin? I'm 22 and still learning new things everyday. Who knew down an old country road there would reside such a magical market?
My outfit can be shopped down below!
Unique in their design, made out of Turkish flying carpets, these "flying carpet shoes" are definitely one of a kind, and a staple piece for me this Fall. Yes, I did mention that these shoes are HANDMADE with Turkish flying carpets, and Ive never had a pair of shoes with a more wonderful design. What intrigued me even more about this company besides their carpet designs, was their story. I love reading business startup stories on how they first started out, the struggles of ups and downs and where they are landed now. Theres just something about the entrepreneurship world that pulls me in.
You can read their story here: ARTEMIS DESIGN STORY
Perfect in their color for some genuine fall vibes, these loafers will match almost every outfit! One of my favorite fall colors; Golden Orange, Toasty Yellow or just that color that was on your grandmas carpet, is dominant in these shoes and I found the perfect cardigan shoved in the back of my closet to match.

God has given us such an amazing gift with this place we get to call Earth. There are so many places yet unseen by the human eye, and so many gorgeous and unimaginable places already discovered.
This August, I am traveling to Peru on a mission trip and I am beyond excited to see the work that God does with our team! I recently got a new camera, so I am especially excited to take it with me and capture the adventures that will unfold once we get there! I have browsed many pictures on Pinterest and can't wait to hold the Alpacas and buy handmade goods from the local women to bring home to America! But most importantly, I'm excited to hangout and be a light to the children there and of course play some volleyball!

While browsing through Pinterest looking at outfit inspirations for the upcoming holiday, I wanted to curate some looks for you guys! This holiday is all about being chic but not over the top. Little hints of red white and blue really stand out and make your outfit way less confusing.
Enjoy these looks and hopefully they inspire you this upcoming July 4th!

First off, Happy Summer! It is my favorite time of the year! There is just something about the warm air and sun that put me in such a better mood when I wake up in the morning. One thing I've really been working on this summer is getting in a working routine every day and not just going with the flow. Sometimes I won’t want to get out of bed early but I have to make myself because I know there is work to get done! Also, when you wake up early, you literally have the whole entire day to get things done which is seriously so much time!
My boyfriend Danny and I have so many adventures planned for this summer and I’m so excited to share with you guys where we will be going! I will be documenting our trips so that you can read about our experiences and see our travels visually on my blog! I love capturing trips because it gives you guys a sneak peek into what we did and the things we saw! I hope you will enjoy them! I’m also thinking about blogging the trips as well! So we will see what all happens and if I will! If you would like to see vlogs, let me know!
This summer, Danny and I have already spent a lot of time along the shores of Lake Erie. It’s such a serene and perfect place to snap photos and for Danny to fly his drone. There’s just something about being on the beach and looking out to see nothing but absolute water. It feels like you are at the end of the world. The weather here in Ohio is very unpredictable so I was so thankful I could enjoy the beach and pop open a cold can of Dr Pepper on this warm and sunny day!
The water in Lake Erie was surprisingly warm so I was able to hop in and use this adorable bottle shaped pool floaty! Floats are so much fun especially to lay on in the heat of summer! It’s like the middle man of the pool. If you get too hot, you can just dip in the water and then hop back on, super useful! You know I'm going to be getting my tan on with this thing!
And if you guys didn't know, I am a unicorn fanatic and was literally ecstatic when I received this unicorn beverage holder! My sophomore year in college, I had unicorn decorations all over my room and every unicorn Pillow Pet imaginable. You could definitely say I was a little obsessed. But thankfully my obsession these days isn't that intense! I’m so excited to continually use these products the rest of my summer and share the fun with my friends!
But don't worry, the fun doesn't stop with me. You can also enjoy your summer with Dr Pepper right now by purchasing Dr Pepper at your local Walmart. Who doesn't love shopping and receiving a prize for doing so?
When you buy any Dr Pepper 6/15-8/15 this summer at Walmart, you can upload
your receipt at http://bit.ly/2pts8Qo to get the prize featured in my blog
here and/or other prizes like:
Spend $5, get a unicorn beverage holder inflatable

Spend $40, get a Dr Pepper bottle shaped pool float

As a blogger, content creator and daily dreamer, all my work is typically done using my hands. Its very important to keep them moisturized throughout that day so that they don’t get dry and crusty. And plus, hands that are moisturized just tend to get more work done (or maybe thats just me). I have been using L’Occitaine EN Provence Shea Butter Handcream lately and it has seriously been a life changer!
Most hand creams I have tried are very watery and leave your skin with an oily texture. However, this cream is perfectly crafted giving me the exact formula and density I have been looking for! The scent of this hand cream includes honey, almond and coconut which are all mixed together to produce this magical product. However, if this scent isn’t the flavor for you, L’Occitane offers plenty of other scents with options of two different size bottles! All hand creams are now available at Sephora!

Ive been on a blogging grind lately and I'm loving it! Ive been trying to adventure more and capture looks and moments rather than just your everyday street style photo. Every photo should tell a story and bring emotion, and thats what I'm trying to focus on.
I hope you guys had a lovely week and are enjoying this wonderful warm Saturday (well here in Ohio)! It is almost 60 degrees here in Ohio and its hard to remember it is still Winter.
If you guys haven't heard, Nordstrom Rack is having an additional 25% off sale and thats where I got my lovely jacket! I thought it would help bring me into spring without looking to wintery. I seriously love Nordstrom Rack so much. Ive spent way to much money there over the past couple months!
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Salvation Mountain had been a place that I have wanted to travel to for awhile. When I surprised Danny with tickets to California for his birthday, Salvation Mountain was the first place that came out of my mouth that we knew had to go to. The trip was everything I expected and more. Salvation Mountain is located in a small deserted town in California. The drive there was very enjoyable and we stopped many places along the way such as the Salton Sea and Joshua Tree. The whole entire time driving, there was an abundance of abandoned and desolate buildings. The beauty of just being in the middle of nowhere comforted me in ways unimaginable. If you ever have the chance to go to Salvation Mountain or Joshua Tree, GO!
I would also recommend watching the link below about Salvation Mountain:
