Sometimes you have to get lost to get found.
These past couple months have been a whirlwind of emotions, most of them stem from anxiousness and uncertainty of what the future will hold. If you are a college student like me, you will probably be able to relate.
College leads you into your adult life, where you get a six figure job, have a wonderful husband and perfect children. Well.... at least thats what we all wish, right? Unfortunately that is a preconceived notion that we were all lead to believe in our adolescent days.
Time is closing in on me and my graduation date, and the pressure keeps building up. What am I going to do? Where am I going to live? and many more piled up questions that cause me to go into freakout mode so Im just going to not write them down and carry on.
About a month ago I watched a video by Steve Harvey. He explains how God calls each and everyone of us to do something special. He gives each one of us a gift and we are supposed to use that gift to the fullest. This video literally made me so happy and I immediately showed all my friends. Its a really moving video and you can CLICK HERE to watch it.
This video made me sit down and recognize what I am passionate about and what helps thrive my creativity. Some things that I learned are:
1. You need to surround yourself with those you boost your creativity. You need people that are going to be there to help you. Push you and believe in you and what you want to accomplish in life. Get rid of those who doubt you because they are just dead limbs on your tree.
2. Don't ever doubt yourself. Sometimes this is very hard to do. God has a plan and purpose for you and your life and you have so much potential. Don't ever doubt yourself because you are in Gods hands and he will take care of you. Don't see the results you want right away? Stay patient. They say patience is a virtue, right?
3. Stay patient. Nothing happens right away, no matter what it maybe. Sincerely jules didn't become a famous blogger overnight. Edison didn't create the lightbulb the first time he tried. So stay active constantly work and see ways you can improve.
So, sometimes along this journey we call life you will get lost, and you will think to yourself, "Why am I doing this", "Whats the point? or "What do I do?". And sometimes it takes moments like those to realize your true passions and where you thrive.
Its not a bad thing to be lost, we all have been lost at some point in our life, some more than others.
IT TAKES GETTING LOST FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO BE FOUND.
